It’s a simple, nutritious way to get a quick, light snack in on the go: the salad.  Often limited to just lettuce, tomatoes, maybe carrots and some dressing, a salad can have many varieties of ingredients, flavors, and nutrient ratios.  Different seeds, nuts, and fruits can be added to different varieties of greens to make a salad perfect for a quick and easy raw food plant powered energy boost early in the morning, or for a late night meal or snack.  

Try this salad idea, and add more or less of your favorite ingredients: combine chopped spinach, avocado, apple chunks, pumpkin seeds, and walnuts.  Toss with a lemon juice tahini dressing for added flavor ?
